The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts is proud to offer scholarships for Drama and Short Films through our Rising Star Scholarship Program!
Rising Star is NYCDA’s way of recognizing outstanding high school students’ creations and performances with scholarships to our 2-year Degree program or 4-week Summer Intensive.
Drama Scholarship
Nominate Your Production! Tell us about your high school’s Fall or Spring production. If your school’s production is selected, an NYCDA recruiter will attend a performance of the show. The cast of the show will have a chance to be awarded scholarships to our Degree Programs in the amount of either $20,000 or $15,000, or scholarships to our Summer Intensive programs in the amount of $1,000. All cast members, no matter the size of their role, are considered for a scholarship.
Short Film Scholarship
Submit Your Short Film! If your short film is selected, an NYCDA admissions representative will contact you. You will have a chance to be awarded scholarships to our Degree Programs in the amount of either $20,000 or $15,000, or scholarships to our Summer Intensive programs in the amount of $1,000. Each person in the film applying for a scholarship must complete the application process for themselves to be considered.
