At NYCDA, you are our family from the first point of contact. Our administration team’s focus is on supporting the development of each student, and we are here to help you–before, during and after your time at The New York Conservatory. Here are a few of the faces that you will see at the school.
Director of Admissions
With over eight years of experience in higher education admissions, Branden previously worked as the Admissions and International Outreach Manager for the American Musical and Dramatic Academy while living in New York and London. Branden’s experience ranges from managing the yearly recruitment cycle to individually helping students and families through the enrollment process. Branden obtained his B.A. in Photography from Columbia College Chicago.
Director of International Admissions
John started his career working in student life at New York University and Rutgers University. Since then, he has worked in admissions, recruitment and academic operations at such institutions as Baruch College, LIM College, the New York Studio School, the New York Academy of Art and Metropolitan College of New York. John earned his Associate of Arts degree from Pace University and his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from New York University. He is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Education degree in Higher Education Administration at Baruch College to broaden his knowledge about the field and learn more about developing new initiatives to help more students. In addition to higher education, his interests include the visual and performing arts, popular culture and media, exercise, sports and traveling.
Senior Admissions Advisor
Bryce attended Mississippi College for Vocal Performance, and the American Musical and Dramatic Academy for Musical Theater. Bryce has experience in sales management at Disney Times Square, and studio management at NYC’s Pearl Studios. He has been Senior Admissions Coordinator for NYCDA since 2014, meeting prospective students and their families, attending Thespian Festivals and competitions nationwide, and ushering students through the admissions process.
Kristen earned her Bachelor's of Music with a degree in Vocal Performance from the Conservatory of Music at University of Missouri, Kansas City. She worked professionally in theaters across the Kansas City area before moving to NYC to attend the Summer Program at Circle in the Square. Kristen has a background in administration and Human Resources, having worked as Human Resources coordinator at the New York Historical Society and SAG-AFTRA.
Daniel earned his Bachelors in Theatre Arts-Acting from California State University, Fresno in 2012. He has lived and performed in multiple cities across the country. Specializing in Musical Theater, Daniel has performed with some incredible companies like StageWorks Fresno in California, The Goodman Theatre and Commission Theatre in Chicago and Actors Theatre of Louisville. He is a proud alum of the 2013-2014 Acting Apprenticeship at the Actors Theatre of Louisville.
Admissions and Marketing Manager
Sean received his BFA from the New School. He has worked as a casting director, actor, director, audition coach, head shot photographer, writer and producer. In addition to his practical experience, Sean has trained with acting and business of acting coaches from New York to Los Angeles, and attended more than one hundred industry seminars with casting directors, producers, talent agents, managers, union leaders, head shot photographers, and other industry professionals.
Director of Financial Aid
Eva has worked within the higher education industry for more than 17 years, including ten years in Financial Aid and five years with Student Accounts. She has a BS in Accounting from St. Francis College and an MBA in Finance from Argosy University. Eva is a member of Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society for Business, Management and Administration, NASFAA and NYSFAAA.
Student Accounts Associate
Susan began her career at one of the largest brokerage firms, Oppenheimer, Inc. She continued working in payroll at internet, entertainment and media companies. She found her calling in higher education, working for Katherine Gibbs School, The Art Institute of New York, and finally NYCDA. In 2015, Susan joined NYCDA as Enrollment Processor, and was then promoted to Student Accounts Associate in July 2017. She very much enjoys working with students and offering reassurance. Susan attended Blake Business School for Business Accounting.
Stefon graduated magna cum laude from Norfolk State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. He has worked in the Registrar’s Office at The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts for over 4 years, and serves as Registrar, School Certifying Official for Veterans Educational Benefits, and International Student Advisor/Designated School Official for the Student Exchange and Visitors Program (SEVP). Stefon coordinates all aspects of registration for NYCDA’s programs, maintains and assures the accuracy and privacy of students’ educational records as required by the U.S. Department of Education, and oversees the administration of grades and attendance.
Residence Director and Title IX Coordinator
Deanna received a Master of Arts degree in Conflict Analysis and Dispute Resolution from Salisbury University, and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and Liberal Studies from Rowan University. Her background in student affairs includes work in residence life, student activities/orientation and as a mental health case manager.
Student Services Associate
Kim is responsible for keeping The New York Conservatory community environment conducive to positive student life. She is a sounding board and advocate for NYCDA’s students. She previously worked as a staffing specialist, finance associate and office administrator. Her background includes event planning, scheduling, recruiting and contracts. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the College of Staten Island.
