For many years we have been hearing from our community of actors that they are looking for more opportunities to work with and learn from the amazing, professional faculty members who teach at NYCDA.
In the Fall of 2023 we will be launching our very first Professional Evening Class, geared towards working professionals.
Our first Professional Evening Class will be:
Audition Technique for Film/TV
Taught by Katya Campbell
6 Week Professional Training Course
Meeting Tuesday evenings, 6-9pm
at The New York Conservatory Campus, 39 West 19th Street, NYC
November 7 – December 12 2023
16 Spots Available
The Audition Technique for Film/TV Professional Evening Class will meet once a week at The New York Conservatory campus for three hours on Tuesday evenings. Katya will be teaching her students how to visualize the scene from the writer’s and director’s point of view, build exciting and personal moments in every audition and tell the story of the scene authentically. You’ll practice rehearsing your audition in a way that connects you to your emotional life and your imagination. You’ll get current, up to date and very honest feedback about audition etiquette, making excellent self-tapes and communicating with casting directors. The final class will be with a NYC casting director (TBA).
