NYCDA Summer Programs

For domestic and international students age 16 and over, we offer two summer sessions of intensive training programs, with the option of student housing.

A non-refundable $400.00 tuition deposit is required to secure your place in the summer session of your choice.


Tuition for the 2019 Summer Training Programs is $3,500 (includes the enrollment deposit of $400).


The New York Conservatory student residence is on 3rd Street in the heart of the East Village. The residence features many amenities, including 24/7 security, free wireless internet, air conditioning, an on-site fitness center, student lounge and sundeck, on-site laundry, and stunning views of New York City. Please note: Curfew is enforced for students under 18 years of age.

Rates start at $1,400 for the summer term (this includes a $300 non-refundable housing deposit). An additional $150 refundable damage deposit will be required prior to move-in. Housing is limited and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Meal plans are not available; students are encouraged to budget accordingly.


A 30-day unlimited MetroCard is the recommended mode of transportation for students and costs $121.00. Students can purchase MetroCards at all New York City subway stations.

International summer acting students must obtain an F-1 student visa*. NYCDA is authorized to issue form I-20 through the Student Exchange and Visitor Information System (SEVIS).

*NOTE: Citizens of Canada, Bermuda or residents of certain other islands described in 8 CFR 212.1(a), generally do not need a visa.
